Removing Electricity Poles
Through Thomas & Thomas's
thorough understanding of the legislation involved
in electricity apparatus on private land, together
with our experience with the engineering processes
involved, it is possible for us to negotiate with
electricity companies to restructure their apparatus
to conform with our clients' wishes. Most of the
time, we are able to do this without the electricity
companies charging our clients.
Some of our clients have a
concern that, in the event that we negotiate for
the electricity companies to carry out some work
on their apparatus, problems may arise with regard
to new supplies of electricity in the future.
It is a statutory requirement for the electricity
companies to keep the distribution and new supply
departments entirely separate. This means that
there is no overlap, and the electricity companies
keep the distribution and new supply systems entirely
independent as far as financial charging is concerned.
