Case Histories

Here are just some examples of what Thomas & Thomas has achieved over the last eighteen months:

East Anglia

A large agricultural estate specialising in crops that require irrigation was crossed by a series of electricity lines, resulting in large areas of land unable to be irrigated. Thomas & Thomas negotiated for approximately 20 poles to be relocated so that the land could be productively used. Again, the electricity company did not charge.

Home Counties

Robert owns an idyllic 20-acre equestrian smallholding in a secluded area close to the M25. When we were first instructed this property had a series of small metal pylons running through it, together with a large number of wooden poles. After some negotiation with the regional electricity company, Thomas & Thomas was able to negotiate the removal of 21 poles and small pylons without the electricity company charging Robert.

The North West

Margaret owns a delightful cottage with a pole-mounted transformer in the back garden. Thomas & Thomas negotiated for this to be relocated on the next pole in the line, and to have the original pole removed and the line put underground. This work is to be carried out at the cost of the electricity company.
